Welcome to the Latest Pro-face News: March 2001
New Products out this month include the first of the GP-2000 Series
Graphic Panels and a new version of GP-Pro/PB-III (V5.0).
GP-2000 Series
The latest
generation of GPs now have more built-in features including Ethernet, Compact
Flash Card (CF), Sound Output. Another key feature is the inclusion of a
second serial port, which can be used to build your own protocols or format data
for printing etc.
The GP-2400 has a
7.4" TFT Display with VGA (640x480) resolution. This is a new
panel size for the GP range, offering the resolution of the GP577 (10.4"
640x480) but in a panel size slightly larger than the GP377RT (6",
320x240). So is it a grown up 377 or a juvenile 577 ? I'll let you
make your own minds up.
The
GP-2600 has a 12.1" TFT Display with SVGA (800x600) Display like the
GP675 . However, unlike the GP675, the GP-2600 has the same panel cut-out Dimensions
as the GP-570 and GP577R Models. Quart in a pint pot ? Maybe...
