Automatic Pop-up Keypad

We've always had the ability to make popup keypads (see our download area), but this new feature makes it child's play. Simply select a data input display and desired keypad type. On a GP/GLC screen, the keypad will automatically pop up when the input field is touched and disappear when the ENTER key is pressed.

Multi-language Display Support

This is another thing we've always been able to achieve through programming, but this new approach requires no programming, and can be applied to up to 16 different language texts, with on-line language swapping.  Add plain text, labels or alarm text as before, but by choosing "Table" text as opposed to "Direct" you get a drop-down table editor which allows you to enter or select text from a table.  The table can be split into up to 16 language files, and even if you can't Parler Franglais, you can enter the English version and export the data to a spreadsheet so that it can be passed to a translator. This makes screen development with multiple languages really easy, even if you're exporting to China or Japan.

Data Backup Function with GP-37W2B

Now, SRAM data backup of logging, recipe and alarm history is also supported with the GP-37W2B unit. Eliminating the need for complicated programming on a controller, your production data management can be easily performed even with our lowest cost GP.
