Xycom Automation has developed the XVME-984/4 Board Support Package (BSP) to decrease the development time and effort required to develop a VMEbus system using the Embedded Windows NT operating system. This BSP allows for easy integration of the Embedded Windows NT operating system with the latest Xycom Automation VMEbus PC processor products. Embedded NT allows for a much smaller system storage device, such as a Disk-on-Chip or Flash drive. Systems as small as 20MB can be achieved.

• Win32-compliant API for simple integration of customer applications

  • VMEprobe - enables users define windows, read and write VME memory, and monitor and generate VMEbus interrupts
  • VMEstat - displays configuration of master and slave images
  • DAprobe - allows read and write operations to dual-access memory
